PSP
Tool Guide
Once
you have all your Tubes in a location you know you can begin
Step
1
Locate
the Tubes you Downloaded and Unzipped.
Pick
your items to make your Marble
1
Marble Globe Glass, 1 Marble Background, 1 Spark, Little Rose

Step
2
Now
make a new project to put all of these tubes in to create your
Marble
Go
to File -- New , a box will pop up, set your settings
as below.

Now
you will have a new Project on the screen

Step
3
Time
to start layering your tubes into your new project.
PSP
works in layers, this means that each item you put in a new
project will go on top of the previous item. It is best to
work from the bottom up.
You
will want to put your Marble Background first
because
everything else will go on top of that background.
To
put the tube into your new project you will need to
COPY
it and then PASTE it into the new project.
To
COPY click the tube you want to put first
(
In this case the Marble Background)
and
then press C and the CTRL buttons at the same time
NOW
YOU HAVE COPIED THE TUBE TIME TO PASTE
To
PASTE click the new project and go to
Edit
-- Paste -- As a new Layer
(REMEMBER
you have to paste as a new layer so it will enter the project)
A
copy of the Marble background should be in the new project.
It
should now look like this.

Step
4
Follow
the same steps above, COPY and PASTE each tube into the new
project
Put
your tubes into the new project in this order
Little
Rose -- Marble Globe Glass
When
you add the Spark you will want to put it on the small area to the
upper left of the Marble globe glass. Use the Mover Tool to
do this. If you happen to move the wrong layer instead of
the Spark go to Edit -- Undo. That will undo the mistake and
you can try again. To view the Mover Tool go to my
PSP
Tool Guide

Step
5
I
decided that I wanted my Gold Spark to be a little bigger than it
was.
You
can do this by using the Deformation Tool. Click the Spark
then the Deformation Tool. A little box will appear around
the Spark. Take you mouse and Pull the corner of the box
Diagonally. You will see the Spark get larger.

Step
6
Now
you can close the tubes and this leaves you with the Marble
Project.
I
always Suggest that you save all your projects in PSP form as well
as a Gif or Jpg. This way you can always change things later
if you want to.
To
save your Marble as a PSP Project go to File -- Save

A
box will pop up chose where you want to save your projects at. I
usually make a folder just for my projects on my desk top or save
them to Disk or CD.

Step
7
Now
you have your project saved in PSP format. Time to save your
Marble as a Gif so that you can use it. You CANT just press
File and then Save.
You
don't want
this
You want this
a Invisible Background

First
thing you must do is go to File -- Export -- GIF Optimizer

A
pop up window will come up Click Use Wizard

a
new window will come up and you must click
Use
Existing Transparent Areas then Next

The
next screen will let you chose a background color.
This
color does not show. It is just a base. Pick a color
closest to your Project color, or pick a medium to light
gray. That almost always goes well.
Chose
colors by clicking on the color wheel and the other options.
You
can also save colors for later and get color numbers
When
your finished click OK

At
the next screen choose -- No Choose Best Colors and then Next

Make
sure your toggle is all the way up at Best Image Quality

Next
you will see your Preview and if all is ok click Finish

All
that is left is picking where you will save it and naming it.

WOW
ALL DONE! YOU SHOULD BE SO PROUD!
Tips
I
know you did one marble how do you do another.
Well
you have the Marble Globe Glasses and some backgrounds.
You
just have to find some Images and Shrink them to fit.
I
like to find nice pictures and then cut out a certain part for the
Marbles
I
use the Selection tool for that. You can take a picture
shrink it a bit and use the Selection tool (set on circle) to cut
out an area you want.
Here
is an Example
I used this picture to
make
This Marble
Play with it a bit, If you have a question or
need help use the E-mail Button.
