At
my Mother House before the Wedding
My
mother made my Wedding Dress. She did a Perfect job as
you can see. Look carefully you will see the lace on the
inside of the flaps of the dress. This gave a special
effect. Every time I took a step the flaps opened to
reveal the lace. The lace alone was $35.00 a
yard. The material was $10.00 a yard. My whole
outfit from top to bottom cost me about $500.00. I also had a
6 foot train with lace and sequins and pearls. My mom
even decorated my shoes. I did not wear them long at
all. I switched to a silky ivory pair of Isotoners slippers
which my mother decorated with lace, sequins and
pearls to match my dress. Pretty good huh, that's what's
great about having your mom make your dress.
