The sweetest thing. Here is Mindy the first week she came home.  She is about 9 weeks old. ( 2 months )

I gave her my daughter's baby blanket to sleep on.  She wanted to be on the bed from day one. :)

Here is Mindy with her first Teddy Bear.  It was given to me for Valentine's Day.  Mindy seemed to like it so much I let her have it.  With a bit of time she chewed the nose off and pulled out all the stuffing inside.  :)

I never knew puppies slept so much.  But I tell you how could anyone be cuter than Mindy.  She still 9 weeks here and taking over the bed already. hahahahahahahahah!

Here is the Dear Mindy at about 10 weeks old.  You can see she is changing already.  She now is running around having quite a ball with Her human family.  She likes to rip up anything makes .

Wow what a difference a few weeks makes.  Mindy is now 3 1/2 months old.  She is growing up very fast.  In the background you can see a tug of war toy.  Mindy and Martie play that all the time.  She is sure looking like a grown doxie girl these days.

At 6 Months Mindy has found that toilet paper is the enemy.  She will take anything soft like tissues and shred it to bits.  After I caught her a few times and giving her a firm NO with a little spank on the butt. She wont go near it, though I have found her with a roll or to.

7 months and Prettier than ever.  Her puppy looks giving way to mature Dachshund features.  Those eyes of hers. Lord they are the most beautiful dark pools I have ever seen.  She always has this sad look, this longing look that makes you just want to hug her up and squeeze her. 

Look at that face.  Mindy has become a Foxy Lady Doxie right before our eyes.  She has already gone through her first heat at 7 months.  Maybe her next heat her and Martie will make some sweet little puppers.  I cant believe how fast she has grown SIGH

Here is Mindy right before her First Birthday.  The couch is now her favorite place for a nap.  She loves those Raw hide chews.  She can gobble them up.  Mindy that Funny Doggie will take anything that she is given and take it to the corner to eat or chew.  She also like to steal all the Raw hide chews and stash them away in different places.

Mindy is now a Year and Change.  I love this stance with the one paw up.  She does this so much especially when she is waiting to go somewhere.  She is so beautiful  and silky. I love her perfect Ears.

Here Mindy is again going into the classic Doughnut roll.  Mindy now has finished her second heat.  We don't think she is pregnant.  But you never know.  We just have to sit and wait.  In the mean time we just keep loving her more and more each day.
